Our member Cosimo Aliani is currently spending three months abroad at the Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. During his research stay in Kraków, he will work on developing a web-based application for visualizing 3D meshes. The project aims to migrate an existing application—currently developed in C++ and running locally on users’ computers—to a web-based format, enabling fully remote access. Thanks to this transformation, medical mesh rendering will be possible directly on hospital computers without needing high-performance hardware. This solution will increase the application’s accessibility and facilitate its integration with clinical procedures.
